Since I am not very interested in the press conference Apple is holding right now regarding OS 4.0 I am going to catch you up with some HTC Incredible news. This Android based smartphone is rumored to release on the Verizon Wireless network as early as April 25th (but a Sunday is not a likely release date).
The HTC Incredible should include the following specs: Android 2.1 (includes pinch-to-zoom and a few other goodies), 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of DRAM, 8 MP camera, and possibly 6 GB of flash to incluede a microSD expansion slot.
I wonder which will sell better for Verizon Wireless, the Nexus One or the Incredible. Google has taken away the ease of access by selling the Nexus One only over the web, which was the biggest reason I did not buy one for my wife the day I bought the HD2 for myself. I would have been on a full nerd high if I had two 1GHz processor’d HTC smartphones!
