HTC announces an OTA update for those of you who manually updated to Android 2.2 a few days before the official release. Even though the unofficial release seemed very stable, HTC insists some changes were made and those who downloaded the early update may encounter some issues.
To see if you have the latest version press the Menu button from the Home screen, select Settings, scroll down and select About Phone, select Software Information. Your Software Number should be 3.26.651.6 as of 10 Aug 10.
If you do not have the latest version press the Menu button from the Home screen, select Settings, scroll down to and select System Updates, and select HTC Software Update to check for the update. *Be sure to back up your info prior to the update even though apps and settings are said to remain in tact you may want to be safe rather than sorry.
