Andy Medders – personal website

Have you ever liked a product so much you consider naming your first born child after it? Well that’s me. My name is Andy and I am a big supporter of HTC. My first experience with HTC came in 2006 when I purchased the T-Mobile MDA and it was love at first site. I really enjoyed using this device full time and I still use for minimal tasks every so often, like a remote for my TV. A recent job supplied me with a semi-smartphone which meant I was able to ditch the monthly payments attached to a personal phone. In March 2010, I secretely paid for my HTC HD2 a day before its release; the next day I got to avoid the lines and go to store at my convenience to pick up my awesome new smartphone. With the success of NAND ROM’s I have been able to convert my Windows operating phone to an Android powerhouse. Although my love for mobile technology was always there, in the months leading up to my purchase of the HD2 I became rapidly obsessed with mobile technology and began to spam my friends with tons of information about new and developing mobile technology. A few friends recommended I extend the information to others and a couple weeks later HTCfanatic.com was born. Through this site I hope to provide readers with application reviews, hardware reviews, as well as cover the multiple operating systems HTC has cradled their hardware around to make for an exceptional reading experience.

I was born and raised in sunny California. After high school I became an Army of One and was trained to fix computers. After serving 10 years in the Army I took off the uniform and decided to work for the them as a civilian in the IT field. I have always had a soft spot for technology and the endless possibilities it has to offer. Mobile technology is especially interesting to me, because companies are able to stuff so many things inside a little box. So here I am writing about HTC, because I am a fan for LIFE!

A useless fact about me is I am left handed though it does not apply when typing on a keyboard =)
